Seidr Fferm Cymraeg – Welsh Farm Cider

Our Tafod Teilo (Teilo’s Taste) still dry Cider is brewed at Wernlwyd (Grey Alders) from apple juice, yeast and yeast nutrient.  It is bottle-conditioned and contains no preservatives at all. It is sold in 500ml bottles and is 6% alcohol by volume.

Tafod Teilo is a living product, so it may be cloudy and sediment will occur. Cider has half the alcohol content of wine and is rich in antioxidant plant compounds and phenols, which may help lower the risk of heart disease. SEE HERE.

Description

The Celts happily took over apples introduced here by the Romans. The name of our cider comes from the tradition that Saint Teilo ferried apple tress across the Channel to his friend Saint Samson in Dol be Bretagne, Brittany, in the 6th Century.

As St Teilo did, drink responsibly.

Also please note Seidr Tafod Teilo is available for functions, village events and so on.  All you need is a Temporary Events Notice which costs £21.00.  Apply and find details HERE. We’ll charge just £2.50 / pint, so you can easily improve your event with some Celtic conviviality.
